Lead - Strategic Sourcing/Supply Chain Management

Job Description:

- Primary responsibilities include managing strategic sourcing and spend management.

Reporting & Relationships:

- The reporting will be to the Head of SCM.

Key Result Areas & Expected Outcomes:

This role comes with the following goals and deliverables:

- Will be responsible for managing all the spending for the Vaccines and Branded formulations initially.

- Developing Sourcing Strategy.

- Strategic Guidance to the exiting procurement team.

- Process optimization for sourcing.

- Introducing cost effective models.

- Bringing new cost reduction matrix and analytics for the various business/verticals.

- Introduction of various tools and implementing the same for the day to day transactions.

- Identifying high value expenditures and working on optimizing and responsible for possible cost cuttings.

- Responsible for driving various leavers for current and future spending of the organization.

- Responsible for bringing new and strategic dynamics in order to manage organization spending.

- Understanding exiting procurement process and identifying process optimization pointers for developing effective procurement process.

- Understating unique procurement categories and variable cost of different product and implementing category sensitive strategy to optimize the procurement process.

- Designing different negotiation strategies for different procurement categories.

- Responsible for designing direct and indirect procurement models for the organization.

- Introducing various e-sourcing and e-auctions/reverse auctioning which would be organization sensitive.

- Identifying possible opportunities in order to optimizing the existing procurement process.

Competencies Required:

The incumbent should be familiar with:

- E-RFX, ZOPA, BATNA.

Knowledge & Skills:

- Ability to effectively operate in a fast-moving international business environment.

- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.

Preference: SCM Consulting experience.
