Lead Global Sourcing & Procurement

Job Description:

- We are assisting one of our leading client having their global platform for chemical business for sourcing & supply chain professional to be based out of Bangalore.

- We are seeking a highly skilled Global Sourcing and Procurement professional to join our clients team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to\optimize the procurement process across global operations. The ideal candidate will have a\deep understanding of global sourcing dynamics, new vendor development and RFX.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.

- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service.

- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.

- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify risks and opportunities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations and finance, to ensure alignment on sourcing needs.

- Manage relationships with key suppliers and resolve any issues that arise.

- Analyze procurement data to track savings and compliance with sourcing strategies.

- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to company standards and regulations.

- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in sourcing processes and procurement efficiency.

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and innovations in procurement.

Qualifications:

- 3-6 years of experience in global sourcing and procurement.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.

- Excellent in market research to be able to identify new suppliers in fast changing business needs.

- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.

- Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
