Service Delivery Lead (11-18 yrs)
Main Responsibilities /Tasks :
Operational Delivery :
- Guide the team to understand, analyse, maintain and prepare management accounting reports submitted by the business unit as per the group reporting timetable.
- Strategize with on shore counterparts on meeting Metrics
- Review of reconciliation between Brokerage database & general ledger.
- Review monthly accruals & deferrals are in line with policy of the organisation & after consultation with stakeholders.
- Ensure that all the Reinsurance International country accounting books are closed & reconciliations are done by agreed deadlines
- Review of reconciliation between Bank balances & Cash management (general ledger) module.
- Managing employee Travel related expense reporting & ensure consistent reporting across various divisions within the group
- Review of monthly KPI's Presentation for Finance Directors providing update on group numbers
- Review monthly International credit exposure report submitted to the group
- Ensure reconciliation of Bank balances for Willis ltd & Willis Group services bank account with general ledger
- Preparing a monthly Service Pack & Quality and Productivity Score Chart and updating reports to the management on the objectives set
- Engage constructively with stakeholders to maintain relationships
- Participate in knowledge sharing forums across the organization
- Ensure absolute data integrity and minimize the error related to processing
- Monitor Compliance guidelines in achieving the monthly Targets/Metrics
- Ensure application of controls to overcome loopholes in the processes
People Management/ Development :
- Provide mentoring/training to the existing and new team members to refresh and add to their current knowledge and skills
- Participate in Team Meetings to discuss queries, challenges, their scope of improvement and best practices
- Update the team on best practices followed and provide technical guidance
- Monitor and achieve the Metrics of the team
Required Qualifications, Skills And Experience :
Qualifications : Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI)
Skills :
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, manage and plan time accordingly
- Able to complete tasks to given deadlines whilst still maintaining attention to detail
- Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Professional self-starter who is not afraid to put forward ideas for discussion and debate
- Strong IT skills including advanced Excel and use of PowerPoint and Word as a minimum
- Knowledge and understanding of the Company's vision and aims
- Proactive and inquisitive attitude with a - can-do- approach to tasks and requests
- An ability to work well with others and be flexible in an ever changing working environment
- Able to stay calm under pressure
Knowledge/Experience :
- 4-5years of post-qualification work experience in Operations management, transition management and information management.
- Experience in Reporting and analysis.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Financials and a HyperionReporting will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of US &UK GAAP would be an advantage, but not mandatory.
