Job description

Our company is seeking an SEO Manager for its Mumbai office to lead organic search acquisition for our website .The right person for the role will use his skills to attain and sustain maximum marketing share for organic search in our industry.

We are in a commanding position in our arena with millions of pages of community driven content and now are looking for the right person to help into newer areas. This is a challenging position at the intersection of content, technology and media and the right person should be able to use all of the three strengths of the company to help maintain dominance.

The right person will demonstrate extensive knowledge of consumer search behavior and a constant desire to expand their knowledge of SEO best practices, search algorithms and ranking factors to improve user experience and site content. We are fairly quantitative in nature and expect the person to be as well.

Responsibilities:

- Work with the product team to help identify issues and proactively fix them.

- Help work on internationalization strategy for expansion into multiple geographies and areas.

- Use WMT to be on top of the proceedings.

- Identify possible on-site improvements and coordinate tests to measure impact on rankings.

- Correlate both link building initiatives and on-site changes to rankings.

- Focus on user first.

- Run audits regularly.

- Stay abreast of new natural search engine optimization developments and opportunities in the SEO domain and incorporate into ongoing campaign management.

- Be cutting edge in capabilities and wholesome in knowledge. You really need to care about knowing and understanding more.

- Be analytical, determined and have a rigorous work ethic to achieve goals that surprise everyone.

- Good understanding of information architecture.

- Ensuring proper sitemaps

- Proposing future growth areas

Desired Skills and Experience

- Very analytical, thoughtful and insightful.

- Good understanding of WMT, GA and other tools of the trade.

- Practical knowledge and experience when it comes to scaling ideas from inception to a full-blown execution.

- At least 5+ years of experience and results.

Working Days : 5 Days a Week (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
