As an SEO lead at a D2C brand startup, your role will be to develop and implement a comprehensive search engine optimization (SEO) strategy for the company's website and online presence. Some of the main responsibilities of this role may include:
1. Conduct keyword research to identify target keywords for the brand's products and services.
2. Optimizing the brand's website and landing pages for targeted keywords, including on-page optimization and content creation.
3. Developing and implementing a link-building strategy to increase the brand's visibility and authority in search engines.
4. Using SEO tools and analytics to track the brand's search engine performance and make data-driven decisions.
5. Collaborating with the marketing team to integrate SEO into the overall marketing strategy.
6. Staying up-to-date with the latest SEO best practices and industry trends, and using this knowledge to improve the brand's search engine performance continually.
7. Providing guidance and support to the rest of the team on SEO best practices and techniques.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques, as well as experience using SEO tools and analytics to track and improve search engine performance.
