The Role:

Lead the Global Sales Development function for a fast growing SaaS firm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish and meet annual and quarterly lead generation quotas for products and regions . Lead the strategy development, planning and execution while collaborating with and aligning on company's goals

- Build your team: Hire and develop a strong team of SDR/Account Executives. hire, train, on-board, mentor, motivate, metric, enable, and coach sales reps, 1-on-1 and as a team

- Develop a world class team by mentoring, counseling and coaching employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising results and related reviews

- Employ a value based solution selling methodology to generate leads. Drive development of required scripts and messaging in collaboration with the sales and marketing team

- Strategically manage your team's territory towards long-term success in the relentless pursuit of crushing quota

- Collaborate heavily with sales and marketing teams on lead generation campaigns

- Drive initiatives to prospect new business in your target accounts utilizing all the resources available to you to augment your own prospecting activities

- Work with your team on building compelling business case for your target accounts to use, based on a thorough discovery and needs analysis

- Teach sales reps to quickly build a business case and compelling events based on the customer's specific business case

- YOU UNDERSTAND BUSINESS. You are a business problem-solver. Your background and experience has developed great business acumen, so you are able to teach your reps to be consultative business advisors to their customers. You're experienced at hiring, training, onboarding, motivating, compensating, and directing sales development teams in a high velocity sales environment via appropriate planning and execution, leading from the front, leading by example

Qualifications & Experience:

- 7-10 years of relevant Sales Development experience preferably with SaaS firms

- Experience of building and managing teams

- You embrace a consultative, value-based and solution oriented approach to selling

- Superior leadership skills, teamwork and collaboration skills

- Track record of over-achieving quotas

- Ability to plan and forecast accurately

- Experience working with sales development tools including CRM applications

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
