Role:
Manage the Financial Services vertical (Retail Financing) for a large Automobile company.
Leading a team of Sales, Credit and Operations Managers. Handle relationships with Finance partners and brokers.
Key Responsibilites:
- Handle Relationships with Finance Partners & Brokers - Foster positive interactions and build strong relationships with Finance Partners and Brokers to facilitate customer-centric products and implement the company's strategies, processes, and products. Strengthen retail sales by streamlining finance and contribute to dealer profitability through increased product penetration.
- Manage Financing Vertical for Retail Sales - Oversee and manage the Finance Vertical for Retail Sales by ensuring the desired level of finance penetration in new car sales. Provide three-month advance planning input to Sales Planning for innovative Finance products that support retail sales based on market analysis. Manage tactical budgeting and design retail incentive schemes incorporating Finance products. Establish processes and policies as per business requirements, including the claims settlement process at dealerships.
- Direct, review, and analyze the business performance of Finance and Dealer partners. Make strategic decisions based on finance companies' performance and dealer requirements. Lead recruitment, training, goal-setting, and be responsible for achieving targets with the team. Monitor Dealers' and Finance partners' adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for prompt and quality customer service.
- Proactively implement IRDAI and RBI guidelines to ensure business sustainability.
- Lead a team of Sales Managers, Credit Managers, and Operations Managers at dealerships to efficiently administer Credit & Collection and Operations, ensuring overall growth, profitability, and adherence to policies and procedures. Emphasize providing personalized service to end customers.
- Reduce turnaround time (TAT) for approvals and disbursements.
- Provide support to the Field Sales Team in achieving Finance targets. Assist in preparing and executing annual dealer business plans and record dealer commitments for the same. Aid in achieving targets in sub-verticals of fleet and corporate sales.
- Dealer Business Management system - Customize Dealer Management Software for effective Dealer Business Management. Develop MIS and dashboards for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reviews for Dealers, Field Team, and Top Management. Implement digital claim processing and payouts. Establish safety audit and review mechanisms to ensure compliance. Ensure timely dealer payouts for all Finance-related eligible claims by the 15th of each month.
- Reporting and Payment - Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on market trends and actions taken. Keep records of minutes of meetings and dealer interactions. Ensure the implementation of actions decided in the minutes by following up with Dealers, Field Team, and Sales Operations. Escalate unresolved issues to the next level to prevent business impact. Provide data and historical information to support team presentations for underperforming dealers, addressing all issues.
- Leadership - Demonstrate strong leadership skills by effectively managing and delegating work to direct reports. Create a positive and productive working environment within the team. Support and motivate the team to achieve targets and ensure adherence to defined budgets for expenses and headcount.
