Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Modify and Improve existing ways of preserving, processing, packaging, storing and delivering the existing products using knowledge of chemistry, microbiology, and other sciences
2. Maintain quality and consistency of the existing range of products across the product life cycle
3. Shelf life extension of existing product keeping in view target market, geography & taste pallet
4. Act as SPOC between Plant process coordinator, lab, plant operators and flavour agency in developing/ resolving issues of existing product/ new product
5. Assist Technology transfer inter & intra department on product transfer from R&D to QA/Production & different Hubs
6. Development and industry benchmarking of standard operating procedures for existing product and new product
7. Develop, monitor and maintain R&D laboratory
8. Conduct research to develop new products, manufacturing procedures and specifications for new products
9. Conduct specific experiments & sensory evaluation to conclude on assigned task
10. Troubleshooting for product improvisation.
11. Raw Material & Finished Product storage & handling
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Knowledge of and Experience in the beverage alcohol industry will be preferred
- Knowledge and Experience with beverage application is must
- 5+ years in research and application development
- Sound knowledge and understanding of flavours, colours and sensory evaluation
- MSC in Food technology/ Food engineering /BSC food technology or any other similar degree
- An individual with high energy and enthusiasm
- Motivated & uses own initiative
- Ability to work to deadlines and/or under pressure and to remain calm and productive
- Communication - Excellent
