- Creating and implementing Quality inspection plan for Staple /commodity Manufacturing units
- Creating designing and implementing a culture of quality in every facet, from sourcing to manufacturing of Staple Products
- Creating & implementing standard operating procedures SOPs & guidelines of adhering to strict quality standards
- Ensuring that adequate training & guidance is provided to mid / junior level employees for implementation of quality culture
- Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications
- Ensuring a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigating customer issues and complaints relating to quality
- Developing and analyzing statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products
- Ensuring that RM/PM & manufacturing processes comply with national guidelines & standards
- Reviewing implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems. Ensuring periodic reviews are undertaken and reports with adequate details are circulated to relevant stakeholders
- Identify CCP and implement effective Validation and Verification plans to mitigate risk
- Working closely with procurement to establish quality requirements from external suppliers and also handle supplier audit
- Validating quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures
- Assuring ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
- Responsible for QA activities in SAP and BOM controls
- Handling QA monthly reports, MIS and QA reviews
- Qualified Food Technologist or Graduate / Post Graduate in Chemistry, Applied Science like Food Science, Nutritional Science or Agri Science
Functional Skills :
- Those who have obtained food quality certifications like ISO / HACCP / CHA / CMQ-QE / CMBB will be preferred
- Working experience in setting quality processes along with inspection, auditing and testing
- Knowledgeable about all Staples/commodities Quality, food safety standards that are customary within the food industry and mandated by government regulations
