- Own the creation and implementation of strategic roadmaps for multiple, complex business functions, such as HR, General Administration, Marketing, Customer Service etc
- Conduct regular meetings with cross-regional and cross-functional business stakeholders, including senior executives, to understand their business objectives. Establish short and long-term strategies to meet their goals
- Provide visible and vocal leadership to the organization. Ensure the future-state vision and path to get there is communicated effectively. Motivate and inspire the team to work collaboratively to achieve the objectives.
- Serve as a guide to senior executives in the business to help them make informed decisions about information technology and understand key tradeoffs
- Partner closely with project management, application development, and systems infrastructure teams to ensure projects are prioritized correctly and are aligned with their sponsor's objectives.
- Oversee a portfolio of applications projects, including coordination with internal business partners and external vendors, to ensure the projects deliver the scope on time and within budget
- Lead teams of business systems analysts to implement industry best practices regarding the collection, management, prioritization, communication, and release of production support issues and enhancements
- Maintain positive relationships with a broad network of vendors and professional services partners responsible for providing software solutions or services to the organization. This includes escalating the visibility of key software defects, establishing statements of work for services, staying current on vendor roadmaps and release plans, speaking at conferences, and understanding the strengths and weaknesses of our vendors/partners relative to their competition
