Lead - Production Planning - FMCG

Have an opening with a reputed US MNC (FMCG) in Tamil Nadu for Lead - Planning.

Responsibilities:

- Ensures raw materials/packaging availability ('MRP') and accurate inventory management by implementing efficient workflows, defined roles, key performance indicators (KPI"s), and cross-training in order fulfillment, materials & production planning.

- Conduct weekly Risk materials review meeting with Purchase department to ensure supply.

- Coordinate with warehouse for materials feeding to production lines.

- Direct monthly/ weekly detailed production scheduling by reviewing inventories.

- Understands and influences the planning parameters and assumptions i.e. production cycle time, sequencing, volatility, changeovers, stock-building, W/H Constraints etc to create feasible production schedules

- Accountable for maintaining the inventory norms for finished goods, WIP, Raw/Packing materials.

- Supervise material month-end closing process, including inventory reconciliation and physical inventory balancing.

Desired candidate Profile:

- Engineering Graduate with 3 plus years experience in Production Planning from FMCG /Pharma industry. Female candidates will be preferable.
