As a Lead Product Designer (UX), you will :
- Own up the product end to end, helping shape the product strategy, vision and roadmap
- Set processes for seamless collaboration between the product, design and engineering teams
- Own up the UI and UX philosophy for the product while ensuring that it meets the general design philosophy of the company
- Design simple, elegant, data-driven and user-centric designs
- Help maintain visual brand consistency between all products and outlets
- Mentor other designers, help them plan for projects and unblock them whenever needed
- Independently own up some components of the product, where you will be responsible for creating workflows, wireframes and UI components.
- Be responsible for delivery of projects taken up by team member
- Work closely with the product manager to solve user problems by following the UCD process to come up with user-friendly solutions.
- Orchestrate and conduct user studies, research, and testing.
- Multitask, prioritize projects, communicate progress and expected milestones.
- Take key UX decisions and set-up best practices for the UX design team.
Must have :
- 5+ years of experience designing interaction models that span multiple devices
- Experience of mentoring or leading other designers
- Hands-on experience of designing high quality designs
- Strong information presentation (visual and written) skills
- Portfolio that demonstrates good quality work - strong understanding of user experience, visual aesthetics and data-driven design
- Hands-on experience on design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
- Ability to work and communicate with different teams like product, engineering and business
