Lead - Procurement - Pharma (only from finished pharma products) or epharmacy companies
- Identify, research, and qualify new suppliers for pharmaceuticals, OTC, medical supplies, and other relevant products.
- Send RFQs, collect quotations, negotiate, and finalize the product costing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to secure the best pricing and reliable supply.
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, ensuring favorable terms for quality, price, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor vendor performance and manage risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and availability of products.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address any issues or concerns.
- Foster collaboration with suppliers for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize shortages or excesses.
- Collaborate with inventory management teams to forecast demand and adjust procurement plans accordingly.
- Implement and oversee inventory control systems to track and manage stock effectively.
- Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement strategies to achieve them.
- Monitor and report on procurement expenditures and savings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all procurement activities.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.
- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or BE/B Tech/MBA-Supply Chain/Operations
- Minimum of 5-20 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement or a similar role.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical products and their classification systems.
