Position - Lead Procurement Analyst
Job Description:
Key activities include:
- Developing and enhancing network of business intelligence owners across multiple Citrix departments to enhance Procurement's own business intelligence capability
- Working with the Procurement Programs Analyst to respond to complex market intelligence requests from Procurement team - presenting insights in an effective and engaging manner
- Executing a communication plan to proactively deliver tailored market intelligence insights to category managers and the Head of Indirect Procurement
- Continuous development of enhanced analysis and presentation techniques to provide market and supplier insights from available data-sources, both internal and external
- Interaction with subscription-based market research providers to obtain maximum benefit from business relationship for Citrix
- Development of benchmarking capabilities and participation in industry benchmarking studies
- Execution of quarterly Procurement KPI reporting, including review of savings pipeline and cost savings records and follow-up with Procurement team members where necessary to ensure record details are complete and accurate
- Liaising with business stakeholders and Procurement team members to develop draft Procurement case studies
- Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for Procurement Programs team and other Procurement processes, in conjunction with Procurement team leads
- Investigating, recommending and implementing new tools, concepts and technologies to enhance effectiveness of Procurement processes and interaction where appropriate
- Enhancing the Procurement Programs toolkit to include financial and risk-related supplier analysis
- Work with the Sr Manager, Procurement Programs to develop the continuously improve the capabilities of the Programs team
Qualifications (including knowledge, skills, abilities and related work experience):
8-12 years- experience in a similar Procurement or research-related role
8 years professional experience, Knowledge of Procurement processes, Six Sigma certification/understanding, Understanding of SAP / Ariba systems, MS Skills, Process mindset, Some supervisory experience, Communication inside and outside of the organisation, Policy formulation / Continuous improvement experience, Data Analysis, Mentoring & training team, Supporting sourcing teams and Project management Experience.
Experience with financial analysis of suppliers / customers
Experience in analysis of supply and demand characteristics
Familiar with industry analyst organizations such as Gartner, Forrester, Hackett Group, etc desirable
Strong analytical skills - willing to ask targeted questions to validate requests, analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently on conflicting priorities
Self-disciplined and able to manage own time according to priorities
Category-specific knowledge in HR & Professional Services, IT & Technology, Marketing, Meeting & Events, Real Estate & Facilities Services, Travel would be beneficial
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Excellent presentation skills - demonstrated ability to present and communicate complex data professionally and concisely according to the needs of the audience with reference to supporting data
Demonstrated proficiency with Tableau or other data visualization tools
Excellent MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills (VBA and macros desirable) as well as methodologies for manipulating data quickly and accurately
Experience with Procure-To-Pay automation suites required. Ariba Procure-To-Pay, Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Information and Performance Management desirable
Experience with large relational databases and reporting tools required - Ariba Spend Visibility desirable
Experience with MS Sharepoint required
Demonstrated ability to query structured and unstructured data and analyze data to provide relevant insights
Familiar with web-based research techniques
Proficient with financial models such as Total Cost of Ownership and Purchase Price Cost Analysis, and ability to identify the information needed to execute them
Can be relied upon to deliver results in expected timelines, identifying and escalating roadblocks where necessary
Functional/Technical Requirements (include education, certifications, and training):
Strong undergraduate degree - preferably in a research-based discipline such as mathematics, economics, engineering, mathematics, management or statistics
MBA desirable
Process design & improvement qualifications desirable - specifically Six-Sigma
