Detailed Job Description:

Role and Responsibility :

- Develop, mentor and coach a highly motivated process excellence organization

- Own quality engineering processes across different software methods (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, Kanban and different engagement models) spanning the complete software development cycle

- Ensure the delivery framework implementation for existing projects and new opportunities

- Support delivery teams in identifying acceptable and unacceptable risks for each engagement

- Coach and mentor delivery execution teams in ensuring the implementation of organization wide best practices within the different engagements

- Collaborate with business unit leaders to develop quality strategy/goals

- Own SQA Operations to ensure conformance of delivery teams to defined quality strategy and goals

- Provide accurate delivery status to management at all times

- Execute organization wide strategic continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business goals

KRAs:

- Deliver on delivery framework implementation SLAs

- Ensure high degree of capability within process excellence organization

- Predictable delivery status reporting

- Adoption of standardized tools, processes, best practices

- Enable high customer satisfaction through a consultative approach towards process excellence

- Definition, collection, analysis, reporting of org level metrics and come up with plans for improvement of the same.

Skills and Experience

Must-have Skills:

- Strategic thinker and thought leader - should be able to consult and engage with delivery teams in alignment with process excellence roadmaps and business strategies

- Strong motivator and team builder

- High degree of consultative orientation

- Able to drive and sustain change towards an Agile and Devops development model

- Able to negotiate with and push back to delivery teams

- Able to communicate effectively with exec management and people at different levels

- Should have worked as a core quality team member for CMMI L5 implementation

Qualifications& Experience:

- 7+ years of total work experience

- Hands on experience in software product Dev / Process Excellence

- Track record in implementing Agile, Devops, Test Automation and Build-Release engineering

- Currently in a role - responsibility for process excellence

- Experience in high technology firms focused on Mobile, Cloud, Analytics and Social Media computing would be a plus

- Having Project Management experience is a plus

- Extensive experience in implementing Process Improvement initiatives (CMMI/ ISO/ Six Sigma)
