Our Client is a leading FMCG company looking to hire their Lead Planner for UAE location. You'll play a crucial role in the fast-paced organization. This position is essential for ensuring that product availability meets consumer demand while optimizing inventory levels. The Lead Planner is responsible for developing strategic planning processes that align with business objectives and drive efficiency throughout the supply chain. This role also requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and production teams, to create accurate demand forecasts, manage stock levels, and coordinate supply chain logistics effectively. By utilizing data analytics and market insights, the Lead Planner will help enhance product visibility and accessibility in the market, ultimately contributing to customer satisfaction and the organization's overall financial success

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategic planning processes to optimize product availability and inventory levels.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and production for integrated planning.

- Create and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on market trends and data analysis.

- Monitor inventory levels and implement replenishment strategies to minimize stock outs.

- Lead and manage the planning team's daily operations and performance metrics.

- Conduct regular reviews of supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement.

- Prepare and present planning reports and recommendations to management.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in planning processes.

- Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms to achieve cost-effective procurement.

- Utilize forecasting tools and software to enhance planning accuracy.

- Train and mentor team members to improve skills and efficiency.

- Analyze sales data to improve future planning cycles and product launches.

- Implement best practices in inventory management and supply chain efficiencies.

- Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.

- Participate in demand planning meetings and drive collaboration among teams.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in planning or supply chain roles, preferably in FMCG.

- Proven experience in demand forecasting and inventory management.

- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.

- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Experience using supply chain management software.

- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics.

- Prior experience in project management.

- Ability to negotiate and manage supplier relationships.

- Familiarity with financial principles and budgeting processes.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
