We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll, Benefits, and Compliance Lead to manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and administer employee benefits effectively.
This role is crucial in maintaining accurate payroll operations and ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
Key Responsibility:
- Develop and oversee payroll management processes to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements and compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
- Ensure financial alignment by collaborating with the finance team to integrate payroll entries with the general ledger and financial statements.
- Enhance customer satisfaction by resolving payroll discrepancies and addressing employee inquiries promptly.
- Streamline payroll processes by identifying areas for automation and process improvement to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead and facilitate statutory compliance by ensuring adherence to labor laws and regulations, including PF, ESI, and tax deductions.
- Administer employee benefits programs to ensure proper communication and understanding of policies among employees.
- Develop and update payroll policies to align with company objectives and regulatory changes.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with statutory and financial requirements.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in payroll processing to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payroll and compliance activities seamlessly with other business functions.
- Act as a subject matter expert to provide guidance on payroll and compliance-related queries from internal teams.
- Lead and mentor the payroll team to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

- Qualifications: 8-12 years of experience in payroll management and compliance within a manufacturing or industrial setup, preferably at a leadership level.
