Job Mandate
The prime responsibility of this position is to device and implement mechanism for monitoring, measuring and managing DC Performance and support DC team to achieve service level parameters
Key Responsibilities
- Develop good understanding of end-to-end business cycle - not only SCM but business as a whole and understand key areas of performance and business requirements.
- Work with SCM team on identifying key KPIs of their area of work and link them with business objectives.
- Identify power users within various functions within SCM and train them on processes and monitoring methodology.
- Convert all the Key KPIs (function wise, role wise) and find out mechanism to quantify them.
- Develop end to end performance matrices and to identify pain areas.
- Work closely with IT and Processes teams to convert these measurable KPIs into graphical form and mechanism to monitor and report immediately.
- Develop various escalation matrices and mechanism to escalate it with predefined time limits to ensure no interruption in any of the business processes of SCM.
- Identify core problems and initiate / develop long term solutions
- Develop Daily, Weekly and monthly reports to take proactive action on any anticipated problem.
- Key success factors are, how fast problem areas are identified (pro actively) and ensure action on the same.
- Provide analytics which can be used for streamlining network design, planning and timely distribution.
- Information support to customers and internal stakeholders about the status of movement.
- Provide strategic inputs to the operations team
