Lead- Merger & Acquisition (Chemical& Allied Product)

Objective:

Spearheading diversification through mergers and acquisitions in emerging and current industries on a global scale. Identifying, Initiating and driving successful M&A to support the profitable expansion of the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape within the specialty chemicals, Oil & gas, Coatings, Paints & polymers, and Agribusiness sectors.

- Oversee the end-to-end process of identifying, evaluating, and executing mergers and acquisitions within the specialty chemicals, Oil & Gas, Coatings, Paints, and Agribusiness sectors. But not limited to it

- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets, considering market dynamics, growth potential, and strategic fit.

- Due diligence on identified companies, including financial analysis, valuation, risk assessment, and assessment of operational and strategic synergies.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and strategy, to assess and negotiate deal terms, structure, and integration plans.

- Engage and manage relationships with external advisors, investment bankers, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction process.

Qualification and experience:

- Minimum 20 years of proven experience in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on specialty chemicals and agribusiness industries and associated areas. At least 10 years in M& A alone

- Engineering & Post Graduation in Management from Top College

- Experience both in Industry & consulting firm

- Managed end to end multiple successful M&A

Skills:

- Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to manage and guide cross-functional teams during deal execution.

- In-depth knowledge of techno-commercial aspects and market dynamics within the specified sectors.

- Strong financial analysis, valuation, and modeling skills, demonstrating the ability to evaluate complex transactions.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal teams, external advisors, and potential targets.

- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently and in a team environment.
