Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Media Planning Lead with 3-5 years of experience in FMCG or agency environments to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media planning and buying, a deep understanding of digital and traditional media channels, and a proven ability to drive successful media strategies that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Media Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement media strategies that align with the brand's marketing objectives and drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activities to inform media planning decisions.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
Media Planning & Buying:
- Plan and execute media campaigns across various channels, including digital, social, TV, radio, print, and out-of-home.
- Manage media budgets, optimize spend across channels, and ensure maximum ROI.
- Negotiate with media vendors and partners to secure the best rates and placements.
Campaign Management & Optimization:
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and adjust strategies to improve effectiveness.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize media plans and enhance campaign outcomes.
- Provide regular reports and presentations on media performance to key stakeholders.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, and product teams, to deliver integrated media campaigns.
- Lead a small team of media planners, providing guidance and mentoring to drive team success.
- Stay updated on the latest media trends and technologies to continuously improve media planning processes.
Vendor & Agency Management:
- Manage relationships with external media agencies and vendors, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Evaluate agency performance and provide feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3-6 years of experience in media planning, with a focus on FMCG or agency environments.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of both digital and traditional media channels.
- Proficiency in media planning tools and analytics platforms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in D2C or e-commerce brands.
- Familiarity with programmatic buying and advanced digital marketing techniques.
- Leadership experience with a small team or project management experience.
