Marketing of the Mall, Brand Management of the Mall, Footfalls & Trading Density at the Mall, Market Research
Key Result Areas:
- Preparation & implementation of Annual Marketing Calendar and Marketing Budget for the Mall
- Achieving targeted SOH revenue
- Achieving Marketing goals- Footfalls and trading densities at the Mall
- Managing of the Brand- Korum.
- Marketing Vendors- Selection and management
- Market Research- Conduct market research to accurately identify consumer trends, and Marketing gaps at the mall
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Tracking Urban Development, and Social Changes
- In depth understanding of cultural patterns and practices.
- Tracking urban development and infrastructure changes in potential markets
- Develop Do's & Don'ts based on cultural sensitivity of customers.
2. PR Management:
- Building awareness and positive perception of Mall business
- Media Planning and Optimizing Media Spend
- Encouraging Innovative Media Activities
- Managing the Public Image of the Brand
- Crisis Communication Management
3. Customer Understanding:
- Developing an intimate knowledge of Customers (R & S) Attitudes and Behaviors
- Initiating & Interpreting Market Research for various retail Categories
- Understanding and interpreting retail trends
- Developing a Vision of the Future
- Being a Champion for the Customers in the Business
4. Brand Equity Management
- Developing Brand Positioning Statement (BPS)
- Championing the Brand
- Defending & developing Brand identity & positioning
- Monitoring & managing the Performance of the Brand
5. Brand Communication:
- Developing a Communication Plan
- Searching for Innovative Brand Communication
- Briefing the Agency
- Working with the Agency
- Developing/Judging/Testing the Communication
6. Event Design
- Partnership Marketing with outside Brands
- Event marketing in partnership with Mall Retailers
- Designing Events and Promotions to exceed the expectations of different customer categories
- Analysis of Events and Promotions
7. Marketing Plan
- Defining & Understanding the Market Category and Segments
- Analyzing Competitor Intelligence
- Constructing the Brand, Events and Promotions Strategy
- Understanding the relationship between Retail Sales & Market Rents
- Preparing Annual Marketing Calendar
8. Customer Interaction
- Participating in the Development of Customer or Channel Specific Marketing Strategies
- Providing input to the trade Proposition
- Contributing to category Management
- Customer Relationship Management
9. Customer Satisfaction
- Understanding factors influencing customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction
- Monitoring RSI & CSI to identify changes in Customer preferences and market trends
- Identify opportunities for improving customer satisfaction
10. Retailer Principles and Practices
- Elements of Retailing, including Principal types, ownership structures, and retailing terminology
- Price points, merchandising, advertisements
- Retailer productivity and retailer math.
