ROLE :
- As a Team Leader, responsible for Purchase & Procurement, Stores activities.
- He and the team will work closely with Design, Operations & Customer Service departments to ensure the objectives of the company are met like On-time Material Receipts, Cost Control, Purchase Interactions etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Planning & Review :
- Achieving daily, weekly, Monthly targets.
- Purchase Team, workflow planning and Scheduling.
- Identifying process bottle neck/ Risk & Action Improvements.
- Tracking & Managing job schedules & Budgets.
- Ensuring Monthly, Quarterly, Half-yearly & Yearly stock report and stock verification.
Purchase & Procurement :
- Making sure material is On-Time & Top Quality to Assembly
- Handling of All types of Purchase activity
- Bills Approvals.
- Payment approvals & Prioritization
- Vendor Selection and Validation.
- Budget Control
- Ensuring cost-effectiveness & Competitiveness.
- Payment Co-ordination with Accounts.
- People Management
- Tracking & monitoring personal & team productivity.
- Skill gap analysis & Tracking needs for team member.
- Purchase team KPI review Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly.
- Monitoring & Maintenance of relevant documents
Requirements :
CANDIDATE :
- 6+ years in Purchase in a manufacturing company (Electrical / Electronics industries)
- Experience in industry belonging to Testing systems, Machine manufacturing or Component Manufacturing preferred
- Experience in handling Pan India vendors
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Experience in handling team preferred
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering
