Skills required
- Education -Masters/PHD in Analytics or related subject from a reputed university
- 10-14 years of overall Analytics experience
- Capability and competence to understand business problems and design advanced statistical and analytical solutions independently
- Proficient working knowledge in SAS/R/SQL
- Expert in advanced analytics techniques like Time series regression, Hierarchical Linear Models, Structural equation, ANCOVA, ANOVA, Full factorial design, Fractional factorial design.
- Effective communication skills to provide insights and recommendations using strong analytical skills; striving to convince key company decision makers of business benefits of the proposed solutions
- Significant People Management and Team handling experience
- Excellent presentation and story boarding skills with exposure to executive level presentations
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and Direct analytical and statistical work in multiple marketing analytics areas including marketing mix modelling, design of experiments, effectiveness of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, attribution analysis and other areas as required
- Provide meaningful insights - answer the so-what- & what-if and propose actionable recommendations
- Effective presentation and story boarding skills with exposure to executive level presentations
- Guide and Manage a team of analysts team and enhance the statistical rigour in the current focus areas of the team
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in core statistical concepts and demonstrated statistical/ econometric modelling skills using tools like SAS eMiner, R or other statistical modelling software
- In-depth understanding of techniques like ANOVA, structural equation modelling, time series econometric modelling
- Work closely with the Campaign and Marketing teams across geographical locations to evangelize statistical initiatives for improving marketing effectiveness
