Lead - Maintenance - Dairy Plant

Role Summary:

Role Responsibilities:

Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of all plant and chilling center machinery.

Key Deliverables:

- Planning and conducting preventive maintenance for the plant on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.

- Conducting preventive and corrective for all chilling centers to ensure continuous operations.

- Collaborating with the production team to minimize production downtime and losses by proactively conducting maintenance and repairs of plant machinery.

- Improving plant efficiencies by optimizing use water conservation, coal & power consumption continuously.

- Ensuring timely disposal of waste management at the plant.

- Driving implementation of quality circles and supporting projects being implemented in the plant.

- Driving adherence to safety guidelines through continuous training of the plant employees.

- Monitoring the maintenance and utilities at CC and maximize operating efficiency.

- Reporting all spends on consumables and safety initiatives on a monthly basis and tracking improvements.

- Preparing budget for fixed and variable costs of consumables at the plant, reviewing actuals on a monthly basis and ensuring that budgets are maintained.

- Managing projects in the plant in collaboration with the projects team.

- Driving TPM and 5S improvements in all areas of engineering across the plant.

- Ensuring right calibration for all instruments in plants and chilling centers, including statutory compliance to legal metrology.

- Leading the maintenance team at plant through continuous performance feedback and training.

Position Requirements:

1. B.Tech/M.Tech
