Lead - Litigation & Disputes Lawyer - Infrastructure Business

Our client, a global leading manufacturing company, is looking to hire a Litigation Lawyer with 9-15 years of experience at their Mumbai location.

Job description:

- Filing of new court cases, defending existing cases in various courts, tribunals after collating, reviewing the documents received from the concerned bus.

-Working closely with the commercial team, and various business units on a broad range of legal issues requiring legal notices or litigation.

- Vetting the drafts received from the external counsels and finalize the same for filing in courts of law.

- Providing pragmatic and result oriented advisories to the business heads / Hod's on wide array of pre-litigation and post litigation matters.

- Preparing synopsis of cases to help the external counsels understand the matter & briefing with respect to various cases and address all their queries.

- Drafting/Vetting notices, pleadings and communications received through business units from third parties of BEL.

- Holding regular review of court cases with various stakeholders and briefing them on their positions & further strategies.

- Candidates should be ready to travel across India (Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities) to attend Courts, Police Station, Municipal Corporation and collector offices for hearing.

- Remaining updated with the latest developments, amendments in various laws and rules
