Job Purpose:
- The Lead Compliance Manager will ensure to meet all statutory compliance requirements, particularly labour laws, across multiple client environments.
- This role involves advising on compliance-related matters, managing registrations and timely payments, and leading a team to maintain high audit scores.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Registrations and Compliance: Ensure registrations under various laws such as PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, CLRA, etc.
- Timely Payments: Generate numbers for PF and ESIC based on data received from HR/OPS and ensure timely payment.
- Law Updates: Update management and Ops teams on changes in labour laws.
- MIS Preparation: Prepare MIS reports to highlight and improve labour compliance.
- Client Audits: Prepare documents required for client audits concerning labour laws, such as wage registers.
- Audit Performance: Submit and explain documents to clients to ensure higher audit scores.
- Multi-Entity Experience: Manage compliance across multiple entities and client environments.
- Salary Compliance: Advise Ops and clients on preparing optimal, compliant salary breakups.
Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Law
- 10 -12 years experience in Labour Law or Contract Labour Management.
- Exposure to Managing PAN India compliance operations, arbitration and settlements.
- Industrial Relations Exposure.
- Language Proficiency - English, Hindi
Functional Competency:
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to prepare and interpret compliance-related MIS reports.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented: High attention to detail, especially in preparing audit documents.
