Job Title : L&D Lead (Learning and Development Lead)
Job Summary :
- As an L&D Lead, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive learning and development strategies and programs within the organization. You will work closely with key stakeholders to identify learning needs, design effective training initiatives, and measure the impact of learning interventions.
- The L&D Lead plays a critical role in enhancing employee performance, supporting organizational goals, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning Needs Assessment:
- Collaborate with business leaders, HR, and subject matter experts to identify organizational learning needs and skill gaps.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to determine the most suitable learning solutions and modalities.
Learning Program Development:
- Design and develop engaging and impactful learning programs, including e-learning courses, workshops, seminars, and blended learning approaches. Select and utilize appropriate instructional design methodologies, learning theories, and technologies to enhance the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
- Create and curate learning content, ensuring its relevance, accuracy, and alignment with organizational goals.
Learning Program Implementation:
- Coordinate the delivery of learning programs, including scheduling, logistics, and participant communication.
- Facilitate training sessions or oversee external trainers to ensure high-quality program delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
Learning Management Systems (LMS):
- Administer and manage the learning management system, including course creation, user enrollment, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Stay updated on LMS features and emerging trends in learning technologies, recommending system enhancements as needed.
Performance Support and Coaching:
- Develop performance support tools, job aids, and resources to reinforce learning and improve on-the-job performance.
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers on professional development opportunities and career pathways.
Talent Development Initiatives:
- Collaborate with HR and talent management teams to support succession planning, leadership development, and high-potential programs.
- Identify and implement innovative approaches to foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Vendor Management:
- Evaluate and select external training vendors, consultants, or subject matter experts as needed.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets to ensure high-quality and cost-effective learning solutions.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure learning programs comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Generate regular reports and metrics on learning program effectiveness, participation rates, and ROI.
Education - Full Time MBA from any of the following institutes ( XISS, GIM, LIBA, XIME, TISS , XLRI , Symbiosis, NMIMS , IMT, IMI)
Experience - Experience in working / or leading a L&D Team for at least 5 years . Exposure to other areas in HR will be an added advantaged
Industry - At least one stint in Retail / BFSI/ Consumer Durables etc.
