Learning & Development Lead
We have an urgent opening with a leading Automotive organization for Chennai location:
Summary of the role:
- The Corporate office in Chennai which serves as the regional coordinating office, is hiring a Learning & Development Lead.
Key roles and responsibilities:
1. Identifying the training needs by coordinating with Leads talent Management, talent Development, sustaining needs analysis and collate information on staff development needs from all units and involvement in identification of suitable interventions for identified gaps.
2. Develop, deploy and monitor the annual training calendar to achieve planned annual development plans.
3. Develop and monitor in liaison with line managers, personal development plans for each staff.
4. Develop and deliver training programs in collaboration with the subject matter experts from the different functional areas and external facilitators as applicable.
5. Carry out end of training evaluation to assess the impact of training programs.
6. Optimize and track the training budget utilization for effective ROI reporting
7. Promote and implement various learning methods (Instructor Led training, Digital Learning, Coaching, Mentoring, job rotation and shadowing).
8. Participate in the Organizational development of role competencies in liaison with HR.
- Business Advisors and the Talent Acquisition team and update of competency profiles as job dimensions change.
9. Support the Firm's development of talent which includes support for talent development programs, induction and internship programs as well as all staff development initiatives.
10. Support the career development program through involvement in career counseling and career development conversations.
Academic/Professional qualifications and Experience:
1. Master's degree in Human Resources Management/Development, Business Administration (Human Resource Management) or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
2. Looking for Candidates from Automotive, Information Technology, Telecom, FMCG/ BFSI sectors.
3. Relevant professional experience of 10 to 18 years in L&D.
Personal attributes:
Ability to converse in Tamil is an added advantage:
- Good communication (written and verbal), numeracy, presentation and analytical skills.
- IT proficiency, especially Microsoft Office, MS Org Charts, MS Visio and MS Project.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills, tack and diplomatic.
- Team player.
- Integrity, transparent and honest.
