FutureLeap Search has been mandated to hire an experienced and dynamic Sales Leader with a proven track record in selling SaaS products to the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales strategies, leading a high-performing sales team, and achieving revenue targets. This role requires a deep understanding of the BFSI industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a strategic mindset. This role is based out of Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify market opportunities and create go-to-market plans tailored to the BFSI sector.
2. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
3. Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the BFSI sector.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored SaaS solutions to address their challenges.
4. Revenue Growth:
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Ensure consistent pipeline growth and accurate sales forecasting.
5. Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay abreast of industry trends.
- Adapt sales strategies based on market insights and client feedback.
6. Collaboration:
- Work closely with the product, marketing, and customer success teams to align strategies and deliver value to clients.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
7. Reporting and Analytics:
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics.
- Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and improve performance.
Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of selling SaaS products to the BFSI sector in India.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of the BFSI industry and its unique challenges.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and deliver results.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
