IT Infrastructure & Network Lead
Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in setting up, managing and enhancing the company IT infrastructure including storage, compute, network working closely with the stakeholders of the IT infrastructure.
- Manage the procurement, deployment, maintenance and entire life cycle of end user devices for all the employees of the organization
- Lead and manage the IT department, overseeing a team of IT professionals and providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of IT services.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards to maintain the security, reliability, and performance of our IT infrastructure.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, to meet business objectives and deadlines.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions and vendors, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and budgetary constraints.
- Monitor and maintain the integrity and availability of our systems, networks, and data, implementing security measures and disaster recovery plans as needed.
- Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex IT issues and escalations, collaborating with internal teams and external partners as necessary.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the IT department, promoting professional development and career growth for team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in IT management roles, with a strong background in leading IT teams and managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure and projects.
- Expertise in IT infrastructure management, including network/Linux servers/storage administration, system architecture, and cloud computing technologies.
- A sound knowledge of Linux will be required.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, with experience implementing security controls and compliance measures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding and implementation experience of Cybersecurity and Privacy standards/certifications like NIST/ISO 27001/SOC-2, are highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications, such as ITIL, CISSP, PMP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are highly desirable.
- Good to have - SRE/ Devops Ansible, TErraform, CI/CD, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, IAC (Infrastructure As Code).
