Role Overview:

As the Lead Oil and Gas Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in their equity research division, reporting directly to the Head of Research. You will be responsible for providing insightful and well-researched equity analysis within the Oil & Gas sector. Your work will not only influence their clients' decisions but also contribute to shaping well-informed investment strategies through high-quality equity research reports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of the Oil & Gas sector, staying up-to-date with market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends.

- Develop and maintain intricate financial models to facilitate valuation and investment decisions.

- Collaborate closely with internal teams to enhance research outcomes and align advisory strategies, contributing to their clients' successful investment decisions.

- Create well-informed equity research reports that captivate clients and lead to informed investment decisions.

- Cultivate strong relationships with corporate partners, industry experts, and clients, leveraging these connections to refine your analysis.

- Participate in client meetings and presentations, showcasing your insights and recommendations.

- Stay ahead of market shifts and proactively identify investment opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector.

Qualifications: MBA or CA qualification, with CFA certification considered a significant advantage.

Experience: A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in equity research, with a focus on the oil and gas industry.

Skills & Expertise:

- Demonstrated domain expertise in Oil & Gas, including a comprehensive understanding of market trends, industry dynamics, and key players.

- Strong valuation skills and financial modeling capabilities are essential.

- Proven track record of fostering extensive client relationships, reflecting your ability to engage effectively with clients and address their unique needs.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to produce well-structured and insightful equity research reports.

- Strong interpersonal skills with a history of building and maintaining relationships across corporate hierarchies.
