Role : HR Service Delivery Lead for India Business Unit ( Equivalent to Executive Vice President Level)
Job Description :
- The Service Delivery Head will drive HR processes/ initiatives across the four stages of the employee lifecycle (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Talent Development and Talent Engagement/ Retention) along with partnering with business stakeholders, supporting client discussions, and applying Organisations policies to support delivery and execute growth programs as identified.
- He/ she would be assisting the Geographical HR Head and other Group HR Heads in building a strong and uniform HR organization.
- He/ She will work along with the Global HR team in rolling out of Organisations global HR initiatives across the geography. He will also be responsible for driving Service Excellence and controls.
- Will be responsible for Service delivery on behalf of Geography HR Lead across India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The role will be responsible for all cross entity (Technology, Operations, Consulting, Strategy Functions) HR processes spanning 50,000+ employees.
- Role will also be responsible for managing HR budgets and staffing for the 1000+ HR professionals supporting the geographic unit.
- The individual should have demonstrated capability in areas of business acumen, HR service delivery & Risk management at scale with large IT firms
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & Strategy :
- Develop Human Capital Strategy and tactical programs to achieve the same; in alignment with the long range and annual plans / priorities of the business
- Support and participate in the business strategy by bringing in the people context
- Define the operational framework for the delivery of services provided by the Cross Entity service delivery teams based upon the defined business and HR strategy in the various businesses
- Adapt, communicate and implement the strategic direction of HR operations to ensure adherence to global policies and processes
- Drive the programs that future-readies the business viz. leadership development, culture, talent management etc.
- Lead pre-merger and post-merger people integration in M&As
Stakeholder Management :
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders, with Business leaders and within HR - both global and local
- Advise top management of the businesses on HR imperatives
- Drive alignment across entities to ensure consistent application of processes, principles and programs
Delivery :
- Ensure the effective delivery of the Cross Business HR processes - Talent Acquisition & Management, Reward, Capability Development, People Advisory support, Employee life cycle management, Leadership Development, Change Management and Talent Supply Chain processes
- Develop/drive/participate in a broad range of HR processes, primarily by defining requirements, providing business insights, setting priorities, reviewing solutions, providing planning input and communicating to business leadership
- Responsible for collaborating with different parts of the HR organization within and outside the geography.
- Develop and manage HR budgets
People Management :
- Lead a team of 60+ HR professionals - attract, grow, develop, engage and retain top HR talent in the team
Role Requirement :
- Business Partner experience from a Tier 1 organization. Should have additional exposure to either Recruitment or Talent Management
- Strong stakeholder management skills should have managed CXO level stakeholders. Global stakeholder management experience would be an added advantage
- Strong written communication & presentation skills (including MS Office skills - PowerPoint/Excel)
- Achievements list a number of successful HR initiatives owned by the incumbent in organizations having a large and diverse employee base
- Should have experience of working in a matrix environment
