HRBP Lead - Tech startup
About The Role:
As the most senior member of Human Resources, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with our company's mission, values, and goals. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources, including HR operations, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that support the overall business objectives and promote a positive work culture.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards and local regulations.
- Oversee training and development initiatives to enhance employees' skills and foster professional growth within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, staying up-to-date with changes and implementing necessary policies and procedures.
- Manage employee records and HRIS (Human Resources Information System), ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective employee engagement initiatives, including employee feedback programs, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and initiatives.
- Identifying & resolving any inter-team or interpersonal issues that may arise, and ensuring that cross-functional work at the org is values oriented and inclusive.
Qualifications:1. A self-motivated individual who takes full ownership of tasks, and doesn't require hand-holding. This role will come with a lot of responsibility and autonomy and we're keen on self-starters who are eager to learn and contribute.
2. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) would be an advantage.
3. 5+ years experience as an HR leader or in a similar role, preferably in the technology or startup industry.
4. In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations in India.
5. Strong understanding of recruitment and talent acquisition strategies and experience in managing the end-to-end recruitment process.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels.
7. Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolutions
8. Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in Google Productivity Suite.
9. Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
