The purpose of the role is to provide support to the Operations Team, stores on all HR systems and lead the implementation of the HR strategies that drive business results in multiple geographical regions. The role will report to the Director- People Resources and will have a team of 4-5 direct reports. The responsibilities of the role will consist of the following:
1) Talent Acquisition & Induction
i. Understand and builds a hiring pipeline to ensure on time supply of talent for all new stores and existing stores.
ii. Lead the campus recruitments for Store Trainee Managers & provide support in Fast Track Store Manager hiring.
iii. Evaluate and partner with graduate campuses for hiring processes. Organize pre-joining engagement programs at various locations like guest lectures on campuses, campus connects etc 5. Plan and organize on-boarding and induction for all campus recruits.
iv. Monitor performance, attendance & development milestones etc. for the campus recruits during the first 9 months of joining
2) Performance Management & Employee Engagement
i. Lead the Performance Management system and talent calibration (performance and talent calibration) across all employee levels within the region.
ii. Ensure Ops Consultants/Managers are trained on the system for managing the talent calibration sessions and performance dialogues.
iii. Lead the succession planning process across the region.
iv. Lead the employee opinion surveys for regions ), review and action plan basis the results.
v. Strategize and action plan based on qualitative analysis/ monthly report
vi. Execute the engagement calendar on a quarterly calendar (e.g. recognition events, competitions, etc.) within the allocated budgets and conduct feedback sessions for understanding the ROI in the regions.
3) Employee Relations & Compliances:
i. Understand labor law and be able to train store managers on disciplinary actions, involuntary exits cases, etc.
ii. Drive the implementation of existing HR Policies & procedures region-wide.
iii. Provide support via data to the ER Manager in cases of biased treatment by managers (termination, performance related, etc.).
iv. Responsible for Annual review of outsourced vendors specifically Housekeeping, Security and Delivery teams
Candidates from a reputed tier 1 institute and work experience of 6-10 years will be preferred. Candidates should have 5+ years HR Business partnering role. Experience in Retail/Telecom/FMCG (plant exp) is preferable. Should have an experience in managing multiple business across geographies. The role will involve extensive travelling across regions. Exposure to Store compliance would be preferred. Candidates with a current CTC of 20-24 L should apply for the role.
