Key Result Areas:
- Lead product development and monitoring - Lead product research and define a detailed product vision and roadmap
- Lead development of a superior and competitive product suite based on customer insights and long-term business plan while maintaining adequate risk and profitability parameters
- With clear target customer segmentation and revenue potential analysis and work with sales team for fast adoption of the product
- Oversee all product related costs, fee structures and minimizes the revenue leakage possibilities in product design
- Enter discussions/ feedback mechanisms on product themes with key clients, brokers/ DSAs and understand their needs & help to develop product strategies customized to their requirements
- Set up an effective product training mechanism for the sales teams and channel partners for adoption and effective sales
- Participate in the development of product specifications in the IT systems, accounting systems and undertake necessary documentations for process notes, approval matrix, etc. for the same
- Frontend regular amendments to product scope, design and terms based on regulatory & legal changes and requirements
- Create a clear customer segmentation & undertake action basis varied customer segments & define the product framework for each segment
- Define & manage different ARRs basis customer segmentation
- Work with Marketing to prepare necessary marketing material for each segment
- Monitor key business parameters & identify gaps to take proactive action
- To design customer value propositions and servicing norms in line with the industry best practices - Design customer value propositions & liaise with business development team & sales teams on its delivery
- To liaise with credit and operations teams to set up robust, customer friendly loan approval and booking processes and to recommend improvements to operating procedures and technological tools, as needed
- Undertake benchmarking the portfolio-service offerings with the competition and highlight the critical modifications required
- Streamline the processes & delegation of authority to improve overall TATs & efficiencies
- To ensure strict adherence to Risk, compliance and legal norms in the product formulation and business development initiatives - To undertake understanding and acceptance of the credit risk strategies, and ensure that appropriate credit risk parameters are incorporated in product design and development to manage risk exposures
- To monitor and ensure that the level of decline and cancellation ratios are within limits, to guide the team on the underwriting standards
- To monitor and ensure alignment of the consumer lending processes and customer experience with critical business processes encompassing loan origination, underwriting and processing
- To work with the Risk teams to identify risk areas and ensure enough mitigants in product design for the same
- To guide and support the risk and operations teams during internal audits, legal proceedings, process streamlining initiatives, etc.
- Support and drive Profitability, cost management initiative and per unit economic agenda for HFC business - Responsible for preparing the annual budget & plans for the company with Finance team & liase with Functional Heads to prepare the plan
- Responsible to support and drive and per unit economics of the business
- Ensure alignment to the P&L goals of the business
- Drive initiatives helping in cost control measures and ensure delivery of all critical parameters of the P&L

To drive key strategic initiatives & digital innovation - To design customer value propositions & liaise with Business Development & sales teams on its delivery
- To design digital journeys with focus on customer on-boarding & credit underwriting with IT & Risk teams
- Drive Digital penetration across company through usage of Digital tools such as Customer scorecards, Risk scorecards, Financial Health check & other tools introduced to improve efficiency & improve delivery
- To drive APF & focus on Builder segment to increase contribution of Home Loan Purchase product

- Drive cross functional projects impacting business profitability & growth
Team and Internal Stakeholder Management - Drive management reviews & presentations to SMT (Board meetings, Chairman reviews, CEO reviews, monthly & ad-hoc reviews)
- Guide and develop team members to facilitate better client origination and engagement, helping them achieve superior performance standards
- Proactively build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders for smooth cross-functional coordination and alignment towards achievement of business objectives
- Work with the Sales, Risk and Operations teams' counterparts to ensure mutual alignment on key aspects of business performance such as process efficiency, client relationship management, risk management, etc.
- Conduct/ organize relevant engagement and training programs to develop teams and ensure motivation and retention of key talent
