A leading GBS organization is looking to hire for a Leader in Continuous Improvement
We are looking for candidates with 18-25 years' experience in Continuous Improvement. The individual will work closely with all leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams to prioritize, implement, and monitor continuous improvement initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a portfolio of continuous improvement projects across various departments.
- Ensure alignment of initiatives with the company's business objectives, strategies, and priorities.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project portfolio, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Prioritize projects based on impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams responsible for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure the teams have the necessary resources, support, and tools to achieve project goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Provide leadership and guidance on Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and other improvement methodologies.
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of continuous improvement projects.
- Define clear project goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success metrics.
- Identify risks and issues that may impact project success and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure timely completion of projects, managing scope and resources effectively.
- Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on the progress of improvement projects.
- Prepare and present reports on key outcomes, lessons learned, and performance metrics.
- Develop and deliver presentations to stakeholders, demonstrating the value and impact of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the development of a training program to build continuous improvement skills within the organization.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Master Black Belt) is preferred.
- Experience: 18-20+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operations management, or project management. Prior experience in leading cross-functional improvement projects is highly desirable.
- Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Agile, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
