We are seeking a Finance Operations Lead to oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations. The ideal candidate will have a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and experience in the E-Commerce or Financial Services industry. The role requires expertise in financial compliance, vendor & investor relations, tax management, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the finance operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Manage end-to-end AP/AR processes, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Develop strong relationships with vendor POCs and insurance partners to optimize payment cycles.
- Support due diligence, deal negotiation, and documentation in collaboration with external consultants.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors to optimize cash flow and funding strategies.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze results, and provide insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, adherence to accounting standards, and implementation of industry best practices.
- Streamline data collection and analysis for informed decision-making and trend identification.
- Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives, ensuring consistent profitability enhancement by reducing operating expenses.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Report and reduce accounts receivable while enhancing cash flow management.
- Manage and oversee financial diligence regarding Direct and Indirect taxes, including Income Tax, Tax Withholding (TDS), and GST.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 5+ years of experience in finance operations, AR/AP management, and taxation (preferably in E-Commerce, BFSI, or related sectors).
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and tax regulations (Income Tax, TDS, GST, etc.).
- Experience in vendor and investor relationship management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial tools, ERP systems, and data analysis platforms.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
