Work Profile:


- Lead the Finance - Accounts function in line with Accounting principles, company policies, legal and audit frameworks applicable.


Position Overview:


- The Finance Lead will oversee the Accounts function, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and applicable legal and audit frameworks.


- This role is critical for maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization.


Financial Leadership:


- Lead the Finance and Accounts function in alignment with accounting standards and company policies.


- Ensure adherence to Quality, Safety, Ethics, and Integrity standards.


Budgeting & Reporting:


- Compile and manage annual budgets.


- Prepare and present quarterly Management Information System (MIS) reports to management and Heads of Departments (HODs).


Cash Flow Management:


- Monitor cash flows based on monthly forecasts.


- Manage banking transactions and treasury functions efficiently.


Project Financial Oversight:


- Track project profitability on a per Purchase Order (PO) basis, including billing and costs, on a fortnightly basis.


- Provide timely updates to the Business Head and Shared Services Head.


Financial Accuracy & Compliance:


- Maintain the accuracy of financial data and resolve accounting discrepancies.


- Prepare for financial audits and coordinate internal, statutory, and income tax audits.


- Ensure compliance with taxation laws, Company Law, and the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).


Banking & Documentation:


- Conduct bank reconciliations and manage import-export documentation and transactions.


Process Improvement:


- Actively participate in process mapping, input mapping, MIS reporting, testing, parallel runs, and system go-lives.


Qualifications:


- Relevant financial degree or certification.


- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.


- Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and auditing.


- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
