Lead Educator - School

We are seeking an educator who views children as intelligent, sensitive, resilient, and compassionate individuals, capable of reaching their full potential in a supportive and unstructured setting.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Learning Design and Facilitation :

- Facilitate daily/weekly lesson planning and reflection meetings with other facilitators for 3-10-year-old learners.

- Co-lead weekly peer ideation and capacity-building meetings.

2. Research and Documentation :

- Observe and follow learners' conversations and interests to develop a relevant curriculum.

- Record observations to identify patterns and themes.

- Document individual learner growth and group dynamics.

- Research and apply innovative pedagogical approaches.

3. Assessment :

- Advise on holistic assessment methodologies for cognitive, emotional, physical, and foundational learning.

- Support self-directed learning programs and developmentally appropriate pedagogy for early learners.

Ideal Candidate :

- 3-5 years of experience with 3-10-year-old learners.

- Expertise in early childhood development (cognitive, social, and emotional).

- Experience in Forest School, Democratic schooling, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf Steiner, or Montessori approaches.

- Strong respect for local community, ecology, and innovation.

- Creativity, openness to learning, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

- Proficiency in English and Hindi.
