Job Description : Our client is looking to hire an Earned Media Lead, who would be responsible for developing the marketing and PR plan of the brand for earned media and executing the communications strategy for the affiliate. The incumbent would be responsible to lead the influencer strategy, and establish and maintain media relationships across beauty, luxury, lifestyle and corporate media.

Client Details : Our client is an American multinational cosmetics company, a manufacturer and marketer of makeup, skincare, fragrance and hair care products.

Description :

1. Corporate Communications

- Responsible for developing, managing, and executing the Communications strategy and calendar for the affiliate


- Responsible for overall earned media budgets


- Develop communication materials as required, such as press releases, statements, interview quotes, scripts, and captions


- Manage PR & Social agency relationships, including content production, campaign design, asset management, program execution, budgets, schedules, and overall expected results.

2. Earned Media (social media)

- Drive the team to develop, manage and drive earned media platforms such as social media profiles (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), brand blogs, etc. as required by the brand

- Recommend launch of owned media platforms to brands, based on long term business goals

- Build communications strategies for owned channels aligned to brand marketing & communications priorities.

3. Influencer Relationships

- Lead the influencer strategy for the affiliate

- Drive the team to strengthen the Company brand and narrative in the market:

- Identify opportunities for reputation building in the market, including strengthening stakeholder relationships (press, consumer groups) and determining a strategic internal / external communications plan for the GM (aligned to the region)

- Participates in the Brands' overall media strategy, defines and executes the earned media strategy for the affiliate along with the team

Profile :

The successful candidate should have :

- 7-8 years experience having worked with PR media and influencers


- Knowledge and experience working with social media platforms and tools (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)


- Knowledge of how to manage influencers, PR communities


- Expertise with social listening tools and community management tools

- The successful candidate should have a firm understanding of digital marketing and social media channels, and strong communication skills.
