PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Online Digital Marketing Lead is responsible for all upper funnel, mid and lower funnel digital marketing activities to drive traffic and conversion for the Consumer Goods business in the Online Channel.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
- Define the Digital Marketing strategy, lead execution of plans on external media and PurePlayer platforms for company within the fast changing landscape.
- Will be responsible for Funnel Planning, Media choices, Budget approvals on all CE Categories for the Online Channel.
- Lead the Upper funnel activities of Influencer Marketing, Blogger, Tech Publisher, Video Platforms, Social Media Marketing to build advocacy in addition to Display advertising to drive awareness.
- Define the strategy and execute for Warm & Hot activities in Search, Re-targetting, Pureplayer Platform visibility, Review & Ratings, Content on PurePlayer Platforms to drive Conversion for all CE Categories.
- Lead the engagement with PurePlayer platform marketing teams of ecommerce companies. This will include both the category marketing teams and the Adverting (I.e. AMS) teams at the pureplayers.
- Drive the JBP process with PurePlayer marketing teams to ensure that they increase Co-marketing investment on company.
- Ensure best-in-class understanding of all PurePlayer platform assets and leverage the same for driving awareness and conversion for New Launches and existing best seller products across categories.
- Lead the team to drive innovation and adopt new developments in digital, social and video platforms i.e. live commerce, whatsapp marketing. Build plans to leverage growing trend of vernacular content.Work with the central marketing team, agency on potential partnerships with Tech Publishers, video platforms etc
- Lead the interaction with internal CE business leaders in the planning and execution of all digital marketing plans. Define budget requirements and seek approval from the CE Business Leaders.
- Building organizational and agency capability to build digital advocacy for our CE categories
KEY RESULT AREAS:
- Sellout Growth, Market Share, PurePlayer platform SOV for categories
- Upper Funnel KPIs for new launches and existing category bestsellers - > Product Page Views, PurePlayer platform & Google Search
- Review & Ratings -> X %age of reviews & ratings for new launches.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Leading a Digital Marketing team in an agency or client organization is essential experience required for this role. Experience in eCommerce marketing organization will be considered relevant to this role.
- The candidate must have understanding of digital marketing platforms, new developments, best practices being adopted by organisations.
- Gravitas and stature to to lead interaction with PurePlayer marketing teams, Internal Business Leaders and drive partnerships, alliances.
