Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Lead
- This role will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the marketing aspects of digital marketing and ecommerce business with the main objective to serve on the growing ecommerce channel and expand the business beyond the category growth rate.
- This role will be experienced in devising the overall digital marketing strategy and ecommerce strategy across ecommerce platforms as well as identifying new platforms for sources of growth. This will encompass defining the marketing objective, target segment and audience, an accurate understanding of 4Ps including pricing and what product combinations and messaging would be required to enable growth on the ecommerce channel.
- Demand generation off-platform via a variety of tactics will be a key responsibility, while on-platform traffic and purchase conversions will be a collaborative effort with the ecommerce sales team in alignment with the overall strategy. Finally, this role will also analyze ecommerce data from both on- and off-platform sources to course correct if necessary or to identify sources of potential growth requiring incremental investment.
Major Duties & Responsibilities :
- Own digital marketing best practices and standards, including reporting measurement and return on investment for digital campaigns, Brand Website & Ecommerce partners - with the end outcome to drive sales growth via digital channels.
- Devise and implement the ecommerce strategy with focus on Amazon, Flipkart, PharmEasy, 1mg, Netmeds etc. Ability to work closely with platforms and agency to track performance.
- Work closely with marketing head, business teams, creative teams, and various external agencies to develop effective marketing communication and campaigns (should have experience running end to end digital campaigns on various types of media channels with strong focus on ROI).
- Design, implement, monitor and optimize full funnel digital marketing campaigns including paid (such as Search, social media, display, remarketing, 3rd party collaborations, influence) and owned media focusing on customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Design, implement, monitor and optimize database with goal of building category salience and compliance.
- Develop content strategy/map to build brand awareness and category relevance; engage customer database.
- Drive integration of online campaigns, social media, e-com and CRM.
- Create customer segmentation groups, evaluate customers segment and focused targeted marketing based on customer profiling.
- Identify areas where new product combinations could meet needs of customers to drive engagement and purchase intent; work with the global project teams to implement such proposals.
