Lead Development Planner

Role : Development Planner, Program Management with PMP certification

Location : IBC Knowledge Park, Bengaluru

Reporting : Head - Development Planning

You'll be a member of : Central Planning

Domain- Manufacturing, RnD (Research and Development), Automotive.

Education: B.Tech/BE (Tier 1 Institute), M.Tech/M.E.(Tier 1 Institute), MBA(Top Premium colleges)

Exp: 15-25 years

What you'll do at :

- Develop short, medium & long term strategies/goals for the Development planning team based on the uber goals of the organization.

- Evaluate the financial/budget commitments are in line with the development plan across cost reductions, capacity and new project development and further these are aligned with the Organization approved plans.

- Review the Consolidate the timelines of various projects across Development and drive focus discussions on impacts, Optimization plans and Risk evaluation/mitigation.

- Review Impact analysis on various strategies with the key stakeholders on a bi-weekly cadence

- Ensuring all called out risks are ranked and their status is kept updated with both internal and external stakeholders.

- Ensuring all the risks have mitigation plans in line with meeting the uber goals.

- Collect, Analyze, Plan for resource requirements(Human, Others) on the approved plans.

- Ensuring any risk/update and their interdependence is clearly called out in time and being agile.

- Aligning with the Product Managers & Product Owners on current project risks and upcoming projects(roadmaps). Highlight any resource constraints identified on approved projects (horizontal alignment).

- Aligning with the Chief Engineer & CoS (Technical) on current project risks and upcoming projects(roadmaps). Highlight any resource constraints identified on approved projects (vertical alignment).

- Aligning with the Program Managers to ensure current/approved project timelines are updated

- Aligning with the Planning teams to call out long term goals and interdependence.

- Participation in project status review to align with project status.

Here's what we are looking for:

- Experience in Strategic planning and Project Planning principles.

- Experience with P&L analysis, Development of Annual Operating Plan and basic exposure to financial risk management and mitigation.

- Experience with resource forecasting, analysis and leveling to incorporate into various plans and/or call out the impacts thereof.

- Understanding of SWOT analysis and Risk management principles

- Experience in concepts of Development, Operations and Marketing strategies and the ability to navigate the challenges faced.

- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage, negotiate with, and manage key stakeholders

You bring to :

- B.E/M. E in Mechanical Engineering/Embedded Systems/Software

- 10-15 years of experience in Execution & Planning
