Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, providing technical guidance and career development support.

- Architect, design, and implement advanced data models and machine learning solutions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

- Drive end-to-end development of machine learning models, from concept to production.

- Maintain hands-on involvement in coding, debugging, and deploying data pipelines and models.

- Ensure best practices in coding, model deployment, and cloud infrastructure usage.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in metallurgy, mechanical, or a related field from IIT, NIT or top university.

- 8+ years of experience in data science and machine learning, with at least 2+ years of team leadership experience.

- Experience in metal industry, manufacturing industry or similar industry exposure

Technical Skills:

- Strong Python programming skills with expertise in libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

- Proven full-stack development experience, including backend systems, REST APIs, and front-end integration.

- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for deployment and scaling of models.

- Solid understanding of DevOps practices for machine learning (MLOps).

- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage and guide a team effectively.
