Lead Data Scientist - BFS

Position: Lead Data Scientist

Experience: 5+yrs

Location: Bangalore / Pune / Hyderabad (Hybrid for now)

Skills: Machine Learning, Python, SQL, Pyspark. (End to end Model Development by own)

Job Description:

- Have understanding of different file formats

- Understanding of databases and should be able to query and pull data from databases e.g. snowflake

- Able to process very large data sets

- Understanding of regression, logistic regression, neural networks (at least simple feedforward)

- Understanding of word2vec

- Understands market basket analysis

- Understands concept of price elasticity and cross price elasticity

- Understands optimization algorithms such as Linear programming, simulated-annealing algorithm

- Working knowledge of python and libraries such as pandas, scipy, sklearn, keras

- Working knowledge of Pyspark and (or) DuckDB

- Working knowledge of SQL

- Working knowledge of excel

- Working knowledge of power point - should be able summarize findings with charts and insights in client ready power point decks.

- Attention to detail - should be able to catch data/model anomalies and issues and ensure error free client deliveries.

- Able to understand client requirements and should be able to recommend changes in the backend processes.

- Manage (multiple) project deliveries while working with one or more data scientists at a time.
