Lead - Data Management - Cloudera/AWS - BFS

Seeking candidate for a Lead Data Management role for one of the MNC International Financial Services Firm based in Gurugram.

Description:

- You will be responsible for building and leading a multi-functional data team in Gurugram and taking functional ownership of data operations within the region.

- Partnering with global stakeholders you'll ensure that the functions are run and structured to manage business needs while achieving operational efficiency and growth.

- This role will also see you supporting data management operations related to the Risk Management Groups Cloudera and AWS based big data platform as well as supporting the Alteryx and PowerBI user community in accessing and utilising the platform.

We are looking for

- Prior education in Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics or any other relevant quantitative discipline. This includes a minimum Bachelors degree qualification with strong academic performance.

- To be successful in this role, you will have post-qualification experience with relevant experience leading high-performing data teams, ideally within risk management or financial services.

- In addition to being a strong people manager and communicator, you will be highly collaborative and have the ability to make independent risk-based decisions and bring positive energy to the role.

- You will also need to be adept with data analysis tools such as SQL, IDQ, PowerBI and Alteryx, and be familiar with the end-to-end process of extracting, cleansing and presenting data in a consumable format to non-technical end users.
