Lead - Corporate Fund Raising - University

Our client is one of the premier universities of India having international standing, founded in 1964, accredited by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) with 'A' grade. Its graduates may be found throughout the world in all areas of engineering, science and commerce. Our client is looking to hire Manager Fundraising to manage all campuses of the university.

Roles & responsibilities

- Lead and build high-level strategic partnerships with Corporates in India aligned with companies vision and growth-strategy. The position will be instrumental in securing multi-year partnerships.

- Develop and manage strategy for raising fund from corporates.

- Maintain existing corporate relationships and develop an extension and replacement strategy

- Carry out prospect research and develop a comprehensive fundraising database that captures all relevant information, as well as handling all administrative aspects of fundraising

- Map donors strategic areas of interest, funds available, grantees, funding windows, requirements and guidelines and interest in funding the partner's program.

- Monitor CSR/Corporate Responsibility issues in the media and keep up to date with professional fundraising associations and media regarding fundraising tools and skills development.

- Develop professional solicitation proposals and undertake presentations at senior level meetings.

- Develop and write funding proposals, corporate applications and reports.

- Track, analyze and report on fundraising results in the corporate field and measure, manage and report performance using agreed performance measures.

- Lead communication with key donors and funders with the aim of cultivating, growing and sustaining long-term funding and collaboration

- Ensure reporting to funders is accurate, transparent and timely

- Liaise with the internal stakeholders, senior leadership and finance team to ensure financial sustainability through careful budgeting, realistic fundraising targets and coordinating timely access to funds from supporters.
