Consumer Strategy Lead
Role & Responsibility:
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the Consumer Strategy for JioPrime - personalised commerce and consumer engagement business.
- Lives and breathes all things consumer- across India and Bharat. Is the hub of all market and consumer understanding on the JioPrime team.
- Stays on top of consumer retail and marketing trends. Brings deep demand-side understanding of consumers, their evolution, the products and services they desire, and the business models that work.
- Recommends deals and offers that work for specific types of consumers, and also advises on what offers do not work for certain consumers.
- Conceptualizes digital product ideas for engaging consumers across shopping, payment, travel, dining and entertainment domains. Leads the design, prototyping, and in-market user-centric evaluation of the same digital product ideas. And integrates winning ideas into the product roadmap.
- Identifies and designs incremental platform features and inventory that are required to meet user needs and maintain competitiveness.
- Generates ideas that improves the quality of JioPrime's consumer messaging and engagement lifecycle marketing.
- Helps define media consumption requirements for JioPrime target audiences, based on their lifestyles, needs and behaviours.
REPORTING TO Strategy & Planning Head
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE 7- 12 YEARS
Candidate Qualification and skill sets:
- BE/ BTech and MBA from a premier Tier 1 institute such as IIT/IIM/ISB, others
- 5-7 years work experience in B2C business design, consumer research, consumer insights, management consulting
- 3-5 years work experience in leading consumer strategy projects
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
