Business Development

- Identify right partnership opportunities - inbound and outbound - in line with strategic priorities

- Prepare deal business case and get internal approvals for running/participating in a deal mandate

- Scout for right partners who can deliver desired commercial outcomes while upholding values and ethics

- Lead deal negotiation, due diligence, final business case preparation and secure internal and external approvals

- Ensure deal closure on time and smooth transition to alliance management phase

- Work closely with region and global BD teams on specific projects/mandates as needed

- Build, expand and maintain a reliable network with counterparts in other MNCs and leading India companies

- Alliance Management

- Full ownership of partner business - development and delivery of partner business estimates and budgets

- Act as single point of contact for partners in India

- Problem-solve issues with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning of the alliance

- Hold regular alliance meetings and evaluate partner performance against contractual commitments

- Manage partnerships in full compliance of A Internal Guidelines, India regulations and terms of agreement

- Role Model - values

- Constantly make efforts to understand the latest science in therapeutic areas of interest

- Uphold code of ethics and ensure full compliance by partners

- Build a robust compliance mechanism for running alliances in close collaboration with other stakeholders

- Be entrepreneurial in thinking and build partnerships to win in the therapeutic areas of interest
