Job Description - The Lead Business Analyst's role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements

Description

- Accountable project execution role for Plan through Close as part of the System Development process for projects

- Development of business process models, business requirements/user stories (functional and non-functional) and product backlogs

- Ensures comprehensive user acceptance testing/training plans are developed/executed and the application is successfully transitioned to production

- Understands business issues and data challenges of the business

- Responsible for IT strategy & portfolio development for a business area or functional domain

- Serves as the liaison between the business community and all IT Teams

- Assist Business with Problem and Incident Management and lead planning to reduce problems/incidents

- Responsible for project business value/return on investment

- Identifies business strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement

- Thorough understanding of the business and in depth knowledge of the overall project portfolio

Profile

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree required

Experience:

- Typical: 12+ years in an applicable business environment

Skills & Knowledge:

- Leverages a wide variety of tools / techniques to facilitate communication

- Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA)/Return on Investment (ROI) Analysis; On time Delivery/Advanced Scheduling /Risk Analysis.

- Ability to lead change management facilitation with key stakeholders; Ability to develop product and process training for the business.

- Unique combination of both technical and business acumen; Broader strategic/program portfolio analysis and big picture understanding.

- Accountable for bridging business and IT strategic directions for roadmap development.

- Expert understanding of business analyst fundamentals

- Expert understanding of writing & managing Business Requirements Documents

- Expert understanding of Business Process Modelling

- Expert understanding of business issues and data challenges of the organization and industry as a whole

- Expert understanding of business processes and how application(s) they represent support it
